Well folks, thanks for all your posts in the previous topic. I feel that some good contributions to the conversation were made.
But now onto the real story... because i can...
This story won't do the experience much justice because the only tool i currently have are these words... being typed on a keyboard connected to an older imac, plugged into a wall of a building that was once destined to be an Emu Barn.
However, it's not an Emu barn, it happens to be a recording studio on Salt Spring Island, where my band is recording a 'test track' The studio belongs to Randy Bachman (aint seen nothin yet, american woman, takin care of business - he wrote those). My friend Christian is his head engineer - He invited us out to do some recording.
The studio is such an amazing space, i'll for sure take some pictures with my camera, and post some videos from my ol' camera phone.
The 'because i can...' phrase has been said a lot today... for instance, i took a shower in this RAD bathroom which is like a rock wall bathroom with an open shower. While i was showering i turned around and saw a set of congas (which for whatever reason were in the bathroom) and saw some writing on them - FREAKING RINGO STARS AUTOGRAPH!! haha, is that not insane... i took the shower 'because i could'... right now we have a 15,000 microhone in the same bathroom to pick up ambient drum noises... 'because we can'... CRAZY
Anyways, more to come, i'll post a few more times this weekend - no pictures till at least monday night.

That's really rad that you guys get to be on the island and doing the thing that you love - sweet deal. I hope that you decided to play the drums while you were in there.
congas in the bathroom?? what a fantastic idea! i love it!! i wonder if ringo has a drum set in his bathroom. heh.
