SNOWWWWW

even the trampoline broke! well ok, not really, elmer undid the springs cause otherwise they stretch too much

white winter blankets

Snow Snow Snow. Sunday night i was stranded at doogs' house. Here are a few pictures from the crazy snow storm we got.

Elmer, what a fierce oponent!

Thats her specialty move

For those of you who know us, Doogie and i take our ping pong pretty seriously. After returning last summer from Tai Pai Majong (an international, invitation only ping pong tournament held in ping nang China) we haven't been training much. Well, November 23 was the first day that we were back in the sadle training for Tai Pai Majong 2007. We're pretty excited. Our training partners were doogs' parents - elmer and ricka.

The Fray

The roof of the paramount

The Paramount Theatre. A great big classy venue. Doogs and i will head down there on december 8th to see comedian Brian Regan. oh, for those of you who don't know, doogs is courtney.

November 19. enroute to seattle. Here are some pics from a trip that courtney and I took down to seattle with some friends. We went to see a band called the Fray. At the concert a band called the Damnwells opened. I felt they really did a superb job. Much more enjoyable than the Fray.

the blue beast has served me well. amazingly well for many years. i'm grateful for its kind and generous service to me. however, tonight was just another reminder that it may just be time to part ways. if anyone out there has a few thousand dollars they'd like to contribute to a downpayment on a lease of a new truck or something, that would be great.

I can't tell you guys how many times i've tried to blog some pictures. i'll select a bunch in picasa and then get ready to do it and i just run out of time, or then i'll close picasa by accident and the ones i had chosen previously will not be selected any more. anyways, i obviously didn't take these but this guy did at one of our shows - his name is Paul Hammill. i thought he did some cool shots. here are two of them.

the weird black things around the bottom of the picture are my eye lashes. they sure look strange.

So i payed a guy 100 bucks today to tell me that i need glasses. it's true. but, i also got these cool pictures taken of the inside of my eye! i convinced them to email them to me. that center point where all the veins are running to is where all the optical nerves exit your eye and head out to your brain. millions of them! the dark smudgy part is the part of your eye where most of your optical receptors are. there are as many receptors in that part of the eye as there are in entire eye put together. i guess its kind of like the milky way. so, i have a picture of the in side of my left eye and my right. this is my left, the problematic one that needs lenses, the other one is basically fine. cool eh!?

here is the evolution of a small family photo. i was just setting up the tripod checking the lighting, and looking back at the photos its pretty funny because people show up in the photos kind of one by one, t hen all of a sudden everyone is there...its funny.

this is doogs. i like her yup.

the originals, these are my uncles and aunt, and my grand parents. merv and dennis are holding hands, who would''ve thought you'd see that on the internet. oh silly brothers.

Here we are!! this is the crew, all 50 or so of us!

lil Mack

This is malachai, my cousin ben who is about 6 months younger then me made this baby with his wife... they make good babies.

Lance and Elijah

i like this picture because it looks kind of oldschool, just a random candid.

Aimee and Elijah? i'm not sure...

This is Eva and brother in law Lance

This is my beautiful sister aimee and my niece Eva. they're both gorgeous.

there's something about the love of a family that really bids people together. this is my brother steve, giving my mom a hug. steve joined our family when he was 16. i was 11. he's been a part of our family ever since. i always prayed for a younger brother, then i got an older one. thanksgiving this year has really reminded me just how amazing my family is. i love you man.

we were sitting outside eating our ice cream and we saw this girl playing with this blocks on chains, swinging them around. courtney wanted to go try them - so we all dared her too. she went up to the girl and asked her if she could try, - turns out these blocks are supposed to be on fire... oh well, looks like she's having a good time,

the crew - from left to right - honorary cousin jessica, lando, honorary cousin chris (jess' husband), aundre, doogie, cousin russ and his wife joy.

ok where to start? lets start here, back in August. my whole extended family (about 300 of us) went up to whistler to all meet up and reunite. doogie came along. here are a few shots from a trip to the fudge shop. mmmhm.

more kids... this is Anna, she is my brothers daughter, she's pretty rad, here she joined me on the couch for naptime at grandma and grandpas. napping is one of my favourite pastimes at this grandma and grandpas house, nice and relaxing.
