blogger geek question...
Has anyone had trouble with their Hello working? For some reason mine won't upload the pictures anymore. My last few days of posts have been through the blogger web based creator - it takes much longer however.
Any hints / clues? is it just my Hello that has stopped? or are other bloggers having troubles as well?
cheers.

Hot Like a Sauna!

This is a sweet lil' shot of me in a Sauna. At one of the booths at the fair there were Sauna rooms on display that were actually heated. I decided i might as well go ahead and try one out. Now you can all look at this picture and experience the heat of the Sauna Vicariously through me. You're welcome friends.
Holy Cow!
Candy Station
Here's a seemingly strange list of products that were sold at this Vendors stand. Note the registered trademark on the Chapstick. Does anyone know what Sundries are?
Jessica Jessica really likes candy. I bought her about $197 dollars of assorted $.05 candies and she ate them in about 10 seconds. (that is a lie. i didn't buy her any candy - just cotton)
Showtime

And now for the Feature Presentation - Jars of Clay - with no drummer... or Bassist... WHAT THE HECK!? seriously, it was an all acoustic set! I was quite shocked that no one had thought to make mention of that. The concert was quite enjoyable - except for Jessica Jessica singing EVERY word to EVERY song at the TOP OF HER LUNGS! She's quite the fan that girl... Quite the fan.
Wisemen and Mini Horse Chariots
As Jessica Jessica and I were getting seated for the concert we noticed a few things - Wisemen, and Mini Horse Chariots. Above are the 3 wisemen who are clearly confused. There was no Star or Nearby Stable or Manger that Jesus could be residing in. Here is pictured is one of the security gaurds requesting their departure as they were beggining to cause a scene. They complied and the concert was able to get underway. Sources say that they used a time travel device similar to that which was used in the motion picture "Napoleon Dynamite"
Believe it or not - This bad boy is strapped up to 4 miniature horses and is racing against another 4 horse cart. This was all to comical - don't you love his great outfit?
Northwest Washington Fair Adventure 2005

Well Kids, Todays Adventure starts here - at the Northwest Washington Fair in Lynden Washington, USA. Let me tell you ladies and gentleman, there's nothing like a little small town fair action to wrap up a hot august day. My friend Jessica Jessica and I headed down across the boarder to take in some of the culture as well as a little concert by some boys known as 'Jars of Clay'. Kady and her friend Justine were going to come with us, but as it turns out Kady had a bad headache or something of that matter. Nevertheless - Much Fun and Laughter was had!

Grandmas House
Hey everybody,
Just a quick story from the dinner table!
After work (which went long) I arrived sore and dusty from work at my Grandpa and Grandmas house (my moms parents) for a family dinner in celebration of my uncle being home. We had steak and potatoes and shared stories and chatted... a pleasant time.
One story had me in stitches - My grandpa said "Steve, your uncle and I saw Arnold - The Terminator" - I guess they had watched the Terminator recently and my grandma piped up and says "Yes I was taking a nap and I heard this terrible noise! - I knew they had been doing construction on the piping down the street but if they kept that up my whole house was going to fall apart!" - Sure enough it was my Grandpa and my Uncle in the other room watching stuff get blown up and seemingly had the subwoofer a little loud.
Way to go Grandma!

Secret Lair

Ladies and Gentleman boys and girls welcome to the inner sanctum of sterr. This is our secret bat cave where we work on secret potions and assemble dismembered body parts to make bionic mutants that will one day overtake the universe. If we're not doing that we're working on new songs and crafting new material for our live shows and upcoming full length cd. We practice in this 40'x8' semi truck trailer at an undisclosed location.
Maybe the timmies stop wasn't such a good idea. As i was enjoying my double toasted double cream cheese sesame seed bagel i took a sip of my coffee and almost barfed (would've but nobody passed me a bucket). I had asked for 2 creams 1 sugar and they gave me a double-double... ewww - the sugariest coffee i had ever tasted... yuck. Then the coffee got sensitive after realizing i didn't like it and decided to spill itself repeatedly a few drips at a time on my sweet action cowboy shirt.
Mountain Beautifullness Beautiful 2005
That was the name of todays adventure. My friend from Halifax (Jessica Jessica) named it. Jessica Jessica, her friend Mark (also a halifaxonian) and myself took the day off and decided to head up to Whistler for a day of chillaxin.
What a day it was - lazy as all get out... Swimming, Laying at the beach, a brief hike, more laying at the beach... and lots of picture taking!
I will post lots of pictures now of todays adventures. Be sure to comment on the photos you like and let me know why!

Blogging - The Fall Of Email?
Just wondering what you guys think of this. I've found that i have written less emails then ever since i started blogging. I wonder if my blogging is taking away from some of the commitment that i have given to writing close friends emails? Is my time being eaten away by my dumb blog?
What are your thoughts? do you hardcore bloggers find that you have less time to email?

No Excuses...
Just so you kids know, if you want to post a comment you can. Even if you're not a user, just click 'other' and put in your name, or click 'anonymous' and sign your name.
2 people today told me they don't comment cause they aren't users.
Just so we can settle the score - there are no excuses :P haha!

Knackered.
Hmm, Where should i start? Many things to write about.
I will make a list here so that i don't forget what i want to write about!
-Work, Blues Festival, Church,
-Friends-Msn - Is it too lame?
-The BBQ - The Cube
-Lances Album - Mastered
-Aimee
-Cara, Andy, and Sarah - a Joyous Return!
-Mom and Dad and photos - moms crappy camera
Work - It's been pretty crazy since I’ve been back as I’ve mentioned before. After mixing Lances album i was hoping to have a few days off but got called into BCIT for the week! Then on the weekend (starting Friday morning) i was mixing at a Blues Festival and making sure the Sound System was in order. I was the only staff from the production company who could be on site all weekend so i was the 'Go-To-Guy' if there was an issue. I had a lot of fun but it was also very very tiring working - long hours. The first night some new friends of mine came out from langley and we went "Chilliwaxin'" and went by Timhortons and then went and had SLURPEES! YHAY! I'll try and post some pictures of "Chilliwaxin'" soon. The second night of the festival the same friends came out and then we went "Abbotsfordaxin'" and went to Boston Pizza and partook (a new word?) in fine natchos, chicken fingers, and a dang Kay-Saw-Dill-Ah.
Church - This week my worship pastor asked me to lead a few new songs. "Your grace is enough" - Chris Tomlin and "Nothing but your blood" - matt Redman. Good times - except that i didn't have any time to practice expcept early early this morning to learn the songs. Then i joined the band at church and led them. It went pretty good. Should've changed my guitar strings though it sounded like a wet sausage with a microphone plugged into it.
Friends - As some of you know - when i was in Europe i was winjing to my self about how i don't have any friends or some poppy-cock along that line. I then made a decision that i would like to start investing more time in my friends rather then going home after a long day of work and sitting on my duff. This means i will be pro-active in doing stuff, and if i get invited to go for coffee (i hate going for coffee) i will go because its the friends i would go for!
MSN Messenger - IS probably one of my favorite modes of communication, However - recently I’ve had a few friends tell me they think msn is lame and impersonal. I enjoy it because its easy and you can communicate to many people at once as well as do work like emails and such. I think i will consciously monitor my time spent on msn and weigh the value of it. What do you people think of messenger?
BBQ - YAY! I'm so excited. This bbq has been planned for over a month! I planned it with Vange and Zena (the hotties on my Italy team - pictured at the bottom of the blog eating gelato) and I’m quite excited about it. After this post i'll post a picture of Rick (vanges hubby) Zena and I in the Cube! Our cube van we used to haul stuff around. We had some good times in that vehicle! I was the navigator! Rick was the pilot and the ladies were just there to make us look gooooooooooood.
One of the reasons i had to type out the list of what i wanted to write today is because I’m heavily distracted. I'm listening to the 1st Master of mastered album. It sounds amazing! I'm really excited about it. I've committed to helping lance sell at least 400 copies of this album before Christmas. Lance will soon have a few songs posted at www.purevolume.com/lanceodegard that you can go listen to. If you like those, the album will be available at houseofjames.com in late September or early October.
Oh Aimee - I received an email at my STERR email account about a few spelling mistakes on the STERR website. I appreciate you Aimz. Please correct EVERY SPELLING MISTAKE I EVER MAKE ON MY BLOG AS WELL - there are so many. It's terribly embarrassing to go back and read my blog and find that my sentences have changed meaning because i leave letters out or spell words wrong. sheesh.
Today in church i got to see Baby Sarah, Cara and Andy! They've returned from their long vacation in southern Alberta. They were visiting a bible camp they worked at last year. Near where Sarah was born. Joyous! WELCOME HOME!
My mom has this junky digital camera and recently whenever I’ve been out with them we take a photo of us where I reach my hand out and hold the camera and we squish together and smile. It's funny - we did it last night at the blues festival and i thought - this is neat. A cool special thing i get to do with the Lando and the Kathy. I love you mom and dad.
I think that’s about it. I will some photos from the BBQ later tonight and some photos from the blues fest as well as the cube.
Cheers to you all!
Steven.

Barfarones...
Can it be true? is there such thing as "Blog Comment Spam"? I posted some pics after dinner came back and already had a handful of comments and they were all weird from 'anonymous' and had strange links to weird places that i didn't want to click on - so i didn't. i deleted the comments too. But isn't that strange.
